Today I signed myself up for the 2010 Race for Life, a sponsered 5km walk that is done solely by women to help raise money for Cancer Research. I have been thinking about doing this for quite some time now, mainly because several people I know (both friends and relatives) have been touched by Cancer.
Two members of my family have had skin cancer and I myself had a scare so I thought it was finally time to get off my butt and do something. I will be completing a 5km walk on the 16th of June around a local beauty spot, and if you wish to sponser me then you can do so safely, and securely online at my very own digital donation page. It will take just a moment of your time and the amount no matter how large or small, will make so much difference to those who are living with the shadow of cancer over their families.
